Politician's Soup

My nerves become so intensified from “Politician’s Propaganda” before an election year, that I just want to shriek; stop the promises, stop the lies, stop the mudslinging, and talk about the true facts.

Do you Politicians really think Americans are going to follow the Pied Piper, again? No, we want to hear about what you will do for America and Americans. And that your plans are realistic, not a fairy tale. We do not need any more bedtime stories.

Please wise up, now it is not about the party you belong to that is most important, but it is the person whom we can trust that has our best interest at heart. And I am not sure that person has been born, yet.

Some Politicians begin with a loud bang; with things they are going to change, i.e. Social Security, Medicare, and Health Insurance. And I have a big news flash for you about Social Security, this is not your money, this money belongs to the people who have invested in it since they began working in the workforce where Social Security is taken out of their paychecks; each payday.

This is our money, and if it is touched then the one(s) who stoled it should and will be prosecuted, and I don’t care who you are, or your political status, “We The People” are mad and we are not going to take it anymore.

If Congress paid into Social Security, we would have a different nation, because they would make sure they stayed on top to get the best for themselves and one example of their own best interest----- is they vote for their own raises.

The smart Politician will say at the beginning that no one is going to change Social Security, and if any monies have been taken from it in the past, it will be reimbursed and the perpetrators will be judged and sent to prison.

The problem with Medicare, it that it has not been policed and managed correctly by the people who are doing the claims; evidently they were not trained correctly, and their software much be antiquated, because they would be able to catch any excessive claims.

And certain classifications of claim submissions would be red flagged like, i.e. Home Care services, excessive claims from doctors, and hospitals, and business that service in home care help, etc.

And the one responsible is the one in charge of it all. And that person is at fault for letting fraud develop in Medicare. This is only good business sense, and until our government is managed like a business, we will be forever in serious difficulties. I worked for an insurance company, and we did everything correctly and by the book, as we were well trained, and given tests to prove that we were updated on all the laws of insurance, new and current. How simple is that?

Health Insurance—First Congress should have to obtain Health Insurance from the same insurance companies that “We The People” do, and not be privileged with getting Free Health Insurance. If Congress Insurance is free, ours should be also. They are not above us, but equal to us, as our Representatives, not our Masters.

So, put all this in the “Politician’s Soup” add wealthy politicians with political backers with deep pockets, favors to pay back, peppered with experience, or lack thereof, and stir well, then cook. Then serve it. What does it taste like to you?

Does it taste like the salt of our Nation--Our Constitution, Thomas Paine’s Common Sense, The Gettysburg Address and the Declaration of Independence?

Or does it taste like the identical old fertilizer that has been spread across our Nation, that is too weak to grow and support anything, like i.e. Homeland Security, Employment, Protection of our Social Security, Medicare from thieves; a guarantee of “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” and our American Dream of owning a home, having a good job, saving money and sending our children to college.

Is there an excellent man or woman who can lift our country off the top of this volcano, we are living on?

We are desperate for the "Taking Our Country Back Soup."
