Kyra Sedgwick is Leaving The Closer in 2012

I have welcomed Brenda Leigh Johnson into my home each week, with all her family and cohorts, and it has been my greatest pleasure to do so. But now I am told that we must say good-bye to her, because she will not be back for another season.

Well, it just makes one want to spit and say a curse word, however, either one is bad when one has been reared to have good manners, but sometimes you just have to let it fly #$#%^&%#.

But why is Kyra leaving? Is it because she is tired and needs a rest? Or does she have something else in her future that is more appealing to her after so many seasons of The Closer?

And I do hope she has something great waiting for her, after all she is an artist, and may need to spread her artistic wings, and fly into another enticing career.

Whatever, it is, I wish her well, and I am going to miss seeing her, and her Southern parents. Her character was great and she played it well. Being from the South, I will give her an A on her accent, B on the attitude, and C on thinking of others first, and I am speaking of Brenda Leigh Johnson, her character.

I enjoyed watching her solve the unsolvable crimes, and in her own charming way, of taking people off guard, which led them to saying too much---then she had them---. Like a sweet charming snake she would strike when the criminal least expected it.

Yes, she was great, and I wish her well in her future endeavors, and she will be missed by many.

Now, I think I will truly cry if Fritz, played by Jon Tenney leaves. Or Detective Sanchez played by Raymond Cruz because they are both eye candy---WOW!

And I cannot leave without saying that Tony Denison and G.W. Bailey are two of my favorites because they inflected the show with their experience as being detectives flavored with their wit and sweetness. (Like a modern Sheriff Taylor and Deputy Barney Fife—so cute.)

Kyra Sedgwick is Leaving The Closer

Kyra will be back in the summer of 2012 to star in six more episodes in The Closer’s final seventh season. Then I hope all of the actors will be back to star in the spin-off series of “Major Crimes” which will take the place of The Closer.

Mary McDonnell will continue as Captain Sharon Raydor, leading the great cast who was the force of The Closer into the new Major Crimes Series. The new series will be back in the winter, November 28, 2012, returning on Mondays at 9:00 pm--- on TNT.

I am hoping that all the actors from The Closer, will be in the new series, because they were all great.

And now we, (The Fans) will wait to see the last of The Closer, and welcome in the new series, Major Crimes.

I will miss Kyra as Brenda, as she really brought that character to life.

Kyra and her husband Kevin Bacon have been married for 23 years, and have two adult children.Their family seems to be very close, and to show just how close their bond is--- Kyra had a "Family Tattoo" inked on her rib-cage. The tattoo consists of all their initials--K K S T, which stand for Kevin, Kyra, Sosie and Travis. However, I think it is so cute and unique for a family to share a tattoo. I am not sure at this writing if Kevin, and the children got one or not.

Just think in the future all humans may have a family tattoo to prove their bloodline. It is something to think about, or---- maybe not.

And if the family unit could extend to the family pets, with everyone, getting a tattoo.

The latest news is The Closer will Premiere July 9th at 9/8c, for the final six episodes. This will be your last chance to watch Brenda Leigh with her support unit of excellent actors.

I cannot help but ponder if Brenda Leigh will be sad that her part in The Closer will be over, and there will be no more Brenda Leigh.

I believe she will leave with the reason to visit her ill father, and then she will just stay, thus the show ends.

But then Major Crimes will be on and then we will get attached to that show as well.

I believe the fans of The Closer will live a long time, remembering the show. After all we can buy the DVD's if we get to lonesome. So mark you calendars for The Closer Premieres July 9^th at 9/8c on Monday Night.
