Greatest Love of All
67
Zack and Laura
Zach held her hand across the dimly lit table, softly rubbing his thumb over the back of her silky hand,
His beautiful jade eyes stared into her light blue ones, then he smiled showing his dimples, proving he was a very handsome man.
His eyes caressed her lips, as Laura drank her wine,
He wanted this night to last forever, and forever they would dine.
Her raven hair so wavy and long sparkled in the candle light as a heavenly reddish glow. Did she love him, still?
Zack wondered, but maybe she always will.
Laura could barely breathe while his sensuous thumb caressed her hand, and his eyes made love to her face,
Sinfully thoughts of his hands gently and slowly recording every curve and concave of her body, made sip her wine faster spilling some on her napkin's lace.
Zack moved next to her in their booth, and now they were sitting side by side, it made her heart pound faster, her face was flushed-- this she could not hide.
Laura, my darling will you always be mine, he thought because they had never spoken a word,
As their eyes feasted on the beauty of each other, no words needed to be heard.
Zack and Laura had dined here 50 years ago, on their first anniversary, and
their love grew with the years,
Through all their children and grandchildren, and many scary tears.
Vines of Love interwove their hearts---so even in the hereafter,
they would never be apart.
Zach told Laura it is not when the journey starts and ends that is important,
But it is the life that happens in between.
And then they kissed as if this would be their last, with all the youthful
passion of days gone past.

Angel
Grandchildren
The Grandchildren Wrote of Their Love
We all loved our Mimi and Papa, who are in heaven waiting for us to join them,
The Angels will play their harps and sings- songs of love in beautiful hymns.
Our hearts are so lonesome, if only we could get a glimpse of our precious Papa and Mimi, our eyes would never roam,
We are selfish we know for they are at peace in their “Heavenly Home.”
We visit their graves as a token--- of love,
But we know their spirits are--- up above.
We talk to them in our prayers each night as we pray,
As we pray to meet them in time, in the future -- on a happy, sunshiny day.

I am tying in my sleep! Thanks you for stopping by and for your comments.
Later,
Bobbi
Try not to sleep Bobbi, or please, do the civilized universe a great big generous favor by curbing your hours spent in a state of rejuvenating slumber as to not deprive an eagerly awaiting audience of more beautifully phrased and arranged imaginary scenes -
Try if at all possible, to satisfy our rather selfish appetite to receive more written works by resting in brief nightly intervals so you can spend the remaining balance of your hours introducing an overflowing ink pen to blank page in a creative motion that will inevitably summon additional romantic passages accompanied by exceedingly enticing verses for the entire world to enjoy -
It was a pleasure to read -
